Three Business Development Advisers for the Intermediary team.

To further enhance the support they give to their Intermediary partners, The Cambridge has recruited three Business Development Advisers to their Intermediary team.

Previous BDAs Emerson White and Jake Segrave have both moved away from the Intermediary team and accepted promotions as Mortgage Advisers within the Society. Helen Gilbert and Daniel Wright have joined the team after also being promoted internally. Helen has gained experience of the Cambridge’s mortgage criteria and the mortgage landscape after working in the Society’s Mortgage Applications team, and Daniel joins the team after working as a Customer Contact Centre Assistant where he supported the Society’s customers with their mortgage and savings queries. Joel Mapp, an external recruit with previous financial services experience, joins Helen, Daniel and the four existing members of the team.

Through continuing to invest in its people and providing opportunities for their team members to develop, The Cambridge is ensuring the best standard of service for their Intermediary partners.

The Society continues to remain committed to supporting their members who are experiencing financial difficulties and changes in their circumstances as a result of the on-going Coronavirus pandemic. To respond to this, The Cambridge has continued to focus on delivering an enhanced service to its Intermediary partners who may be dealing with challenging cases at this time. The Society’s Intermediary team has recently received glowing feedback on its flexibility when reviewing cases from intermediaries whose clients are experiencing financial difficulty, and their consistency in helping them quickly and efficiently when they call the team.

Kathy Bowes, who leads the Intermediary team at The Cambridge, comments on the new appointments, “We’re delighted to welcome Helen, Joel and Daniel to the team. We’re committed to recruiting the right people to ensure when our intermediaries contact us they receive clear advice and the expertise needed to help their clients get a mortgage. We pride ourselves on having a great team and these appointments further demonstrate our commitment to this vitally important distribution channel.”
